1. About Our Services

HouseMaidDotCom.in is a domestic help placement and consultancy platform that assists clients in finding suitable domestic workers including:

  • House Maids
  • Babysitters / Nannies
  • Cooks
  • Elder Care Helpers
  • Patient Care Attendants
  • Japa Maids
  • Housekeeping Staff
  • Driver

We act only as a facilitator or placement agency connecting clients with independent domestic workers.

2. Nature of Relationship

HouseMaidDotCom.in is not the direct employer of any maid, nanny, cook, caregiver, or domestic worker listed or referred through our platform.

The employment relationship exists solely between the client and the domestic worker after hiring.

3. Registration & Service Fees

  • Clients must pay the applicable registration or placement fee before finalizing hiring.
  • All service charges, registration fees, and replacement fees are non-refundable unless specifically agreed in writing.
  • Maid salary is separate from agency charges and must be paid directly to the worker by the client.

4. Replacement Policy

  • Replacement requests will be considered only within the validity period mentioned at the time of registration.
  • Free or paid replacements, if applicable, are subject to availability of candidates.
  • Replacement will not be provided in cases involving:
    • Misbehavior by the client
    • Unreasonable work expectations
    • Delay or non-payment of salary
    • Unsafe or inappropriate working conditions

5. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide a safe and respectful working environment
  • Clearly communicate job duties, salary, working hours, weekly off, and accommodation details
  • Treat domestic workers with dignity and comply with applicable labor and safety laws
  • Verify the identity and background of the worker independently if required

6. Verification Disclaimer

We may conduct basic screening and document verification of candidates based on available information. However:

  • We do not guarantee the authenticity, conduct, behavior, medical condition, or past history of any candidate.
  • Clients are strongly advised to conduct police verification and independent background checks before employment.

HouseMaidDotCom.in shall not be liable for any act, omission, theft, misconduct, negligence, dispute, injury, or damages caused by the worker.

7. Salary & Employment Terms

Salary, leaves, bonuses, accommodation, food, and other employment conditions are mutually agreed between the client and the domestic worker.

The agency shall not be responsible for disputes arising after placement.

8. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Registration and placement charges are non-refundable once candidate profiles are shared or interviews are arranged.
  • No refund shall be issued after the worker joins duty.
  • If the client cancels the requirement after confirmation, fees paid shall stand forfeited.

9. Limitation of Liability

HouseMaidDotCom.in shall not be responsible for:

  • Theft, misconduct, negligence, or criminal acts
  • Medical emergencies or accidents
  • Salary disputes between client and worker
  • Worker leaving the job without notice
  • Any direct or indirect losses arising from use of our services

Clients hire workers at their own discretion and risk.

10. Prohibited Use

Clients shall not:

  • Use abusive, discriminatory, or unlawful behavior toward workers
  • Engage workers for illegal activities
  • Misrepresent job requirements or salary details
  • Share false information during registration

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services to any client violating these terms.

11. Privacy Policy

Personal information shared with us will be handled responsibly and used only for service-related purposes.

We do not sell or publicly disclose client information to unauthorized third parties.

12. Intellectual Property

All website content including text, logo, graphics, and branding belongs to HouseMaidDotCom.in and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated terms will be posted on this page.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
